GRANADA SANITARY DISTRICT

Mission Statement:  To protect public health and safety, preserve our natural environment, and maintain fiscal soundness by providing high quality service for wastewater, solid waste collection and recycling through responsible operations and management.

The Granada Sanitary District serves El Granada, Princeton, Princeton-by-the-Sea ("Clipper Ridge"), Miramar, and the northern portion of the City of Half Moon Bay (from Frenchman's Creek north.)    District boundary map (pdf)

Montara and Moss Beach are served by the Montara Water & Sanitary District (MWSD)

Regular Board Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the District's office,
and are normally shown on Pacific Coast TV (PCT) (Cable channel 27) at 12:00 pm on Saturday and at 10:00 am Monday following the meeting (but check the schedule as showtimes can vary).

Quarterly Special Items Recycle drop-off: fourth Saturday of the first month of each quarter.   See trash collection page for more information

We are a member of the Sewer Authority Mid-Coastside (SAM) which operates the wastewater treatment plant.
For emergency sewer backups and overflows, call the Sewer Authority Mid-Coastside at 726-0124.
